Frosty and creamy! The combination of coconut, almond, and chocolate reminds me of my favorite candy bar, the Almond Joy.
You can experiment with a splash of amaretto or chocolate S.F. syrups in place of the Splenda!
ALMOND JOY egg cream Approx 5 net carbohydrates
8 oz unsweetened chocolate Almond Breeze(2g carb)
1/4 C. coconut CREAM (not milk) (1.5g carb)
1 or 2 raw eggs (.5 carb per egg)
1 or 2 handfuls of ice
1 packet of Splenda (1g per pkt)
How To Prepare:
Blend all together in your blender or magic bullet! If too frothy, let sit for a while in fridge before drinking.
Carb count will vary depending on number of sweetener packets and eggs used. I find that using 1 egg keeps me full for a whopping 4 hours!
