Asian soup inspired by a favorite resturant
Very quick and easy
1 pkg. Dynasty wonton soup mix or base
4-6 oz sirloin steak- sliced thin cooked or raw
8-10 med shrimp fresh or frozen
3 very thin slices white onion
1 tsp soy sauce
˝ tsp sesame oil
1 green onion-sliced
Fresh cilantro 6-8 sprigs or to taste
1/2 cup bean sprouts
squeeze fresh lime
How To Prepare:
Boil water and add wonton soup mix or base. Mine uses 3 cups of water. Add white onion, soy sauce, sesame oil. Add steak and shrimp. Cook till steak is rare and shrimp is heated or cooked. Turn off heat. Add cilantro, green onion and bean sprouts. Squeeze with lime to taste
This can be changed by using pork, chicken etc. Also you can add veggies. I sometimes also make a heartier meal and add Dreamfields spaghetti or linguine. Add the carb counts for any changes. I also add the Sriracha hot sauce (red chili sauce in Asian food section with rooster on bottle) to this for extra kick.
