Authentic chile rellenos. Recipe from Mexico. I love them!
4-8 fresh poblanos chiles
monterrey jack cheese
choice fillings : sliced onions, shrimp, etc.
table cream (Cacique is best)
How To Prepare:
Toast chiles either over fire or in the oven (about 400 degrees F) until skin is easy to peel. Slice open side and remove membranes and seeds. Stuff with cheese and any other filling. Lay in baking dish and pour table cream over top, just enough to coat. Cover pan with foil and bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes. Serve.
