Description: I ate the whole recipe because I was really hungry and they are really good and extremely low in carbs. However, these would be great for DH and I to have for breakfast some mornings with 3 patties each and top them with 1 fried egg. Or just served with egg ... I would like the egg on top I think.
Ingredients: 1 6oz can Tuna (I use Starkist packed in water)
1 Green Qnion
1 lg. Egg
1 tsp. Flaxseed Meal
Butter or oil for frying (I used butter)
Salt and Pepper to taste
How To Prepare: Drain tuna VERY well. Squeeze the lid down into the can and get all the water out that you can. Mix in all the remaining ingredients except your butter or oil. Be sure and mix well.

Heat butter (or oil) in a small frying pan. Add small spoonfulls of mixture. I divided mine into 6 pieces so the onions would could well. Be sure and leave enough room to be able to get your spatula in and turn them easily. Brown on each side about 2-3 minutes each until they are a nice golden brown color. Remove from pan. Sprinkle on a little more salt (if you want) and ENJOY!

TOTAL RECIPE:

CALS: 381 (because of the butter ... another oil may be lower)
FAT: 19
CARBS: 3
FIBER: 1
NET CARBS: 2
PROTEIN: 46

IF you don't use flaxseed meal, double everything else EXCEPT EGG. You will end up with twice as many of course, but these things are so good you will want extra for later.

I bet these would be great using the same amount of Salmon or Crab. Just be sure to squeeze out the excess water before using.
Number of Servings: 2
Carbs per serving - include all nutritional information if known: See above
Preparation Time: Very little .... I don't know how fast you move. Smile
Effort (Easy, Average, Difficult): Easy
