A creamy peanut butter dessert on a nutty crust. A wonderful way to get that Peanut Butter fix when just a spoonful won't do.
Double Peanut Squares
1 c. almond flour
1/2 c. roasted peanuts, finely chopped
1/3 c. butter, melted
2 Tbsp. Splenda granular
1 (8oz.) pkg cream cheese, softened
3/4 c. splenda (I use liquid to equal)
1/2 c. peanut butter, either creamy or chunky
1 c. heavy cream, whipped and sweetened
How To Prepare:
Mix flour, peanuts, butter and splenda. Reserve 2 Tbsp. cumb mixture. Press remaining mix in a 8 or 9 inch square pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Bake at 350* for about 10-15 minutes until browned; cool while getting the rest ready.
Beat cream cheese and splenda in large bowl with electric mixer on medium until light and fluffy. Beat in peanut butter until smooth. Fold in whipped cream.
Spread evenly over prepared crust. Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm. Top with additional reserved crumb mix. Garnish with additional whipped cream.
