This is amazing! Enough said- but I will elaborate slightly. Inspired by an appetizer that was served at my wedding- i was determined to recreate this wonderful dish! Bon Appetit! ps. dont let the ingredient list intimidate you- its worth it - I promise!

Ingredients:

Saffron Shrimp ♥
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 pearl onion, minced
1 lb large raw shrimp, cleaned
1/2 tsp saffron threads
1/4 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons white wine
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1/8 tsp red pepper flakes
dash salt & pepper

How To Prepare:

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over med-high heat. Add garlic and onion, sautee for
1 minute. Add shrimp and saffron, sauté 3 minutes, or until shrimp turn pink. Add
heavy cream, butter, wine, parsley and red pepper flakes. Season with salt and
pepper, to taste. Pour onto warm platter and serve with toothpicks.
