Very easy 3-ingredient stovetop custard recipe!
1/2 C heavy cream/whipping cream
2 large egg yolks
1 T splenda
OPTIONAL: Nutmeg, cinnamon to taste
How To Prepare:
Just throw all ingredients into a saucepan and heat until thickened, making sure to constantly whisk to keep eggs from scrambling. Once thickened, pour in serving dishes and cool. 4 carbs per serving.
**Recipe adapted from Dark Chocolate Pudding recipe at http://diet-info.org/news/best-low-carb-desert-recipes-review ** NOTE: The recipe definitely means "cool", NOT "chill". It's kinda oddly textured if you chill it, I recommend room temp at the coolest.
