Description: This is a rub I came up with after experimenting in the kitchen.
Ingredients: 1 Tbsp Onion Powder
1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
1 Tsp Red/Cayenne Pepper (adjust to taste)
1-1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
1/2 Tsp Paprika
1 Tsp Celery Salt
1 Packet (4g) Beef Boullion
How To Prepare: Combine all ingredients in a sealed container and shake to mix. Apply liberally to tenderized steaks and rub into the meat. Let sit for at least 30 mins before cooking.
Personally, I spray a mixture of Worcestershire and soy sauce on the steak before the rub. This adds some flavor and allows the rub to stick to the meat a little better.
Number of Servings: 1-3 lbs of steak, depending on the surface area and amount of application.
