This is something I put together around some shrimp I wanted to cook. Deciding how I was going to cook the shrimp was a last minute thing.
1/2 stick of butter -OR-
1/8 cup canola oil
1 tspn garlic (or spices of your choice)
2 cups cabbage (cut into large or small pieces)
1 cup mushrooms (sliced)
1 lb. Uncooked Shrimp (shelled and deveined)
(any other low carb veggies you would like to add)
How To Prepare:
Heat butter or oil in nonstick skillet or wok. Add mushrooms and cabbage. Stirfry 1-2 minutes. Add garlic (or other seasonings.) Stirfry until veggies start to soften. Remove veggies from skillet. Add shrimp and stirfry until almost fully coooked. (Do not overcook shrimp as they bcome 'rubbery'.) Add veggies back to skillet and stirfry for 30-60 seconds additional. Serve on warm plate.
*My daughter melted butter and added garlic and oregano to it so we could dip our shrimp in.
