Description: This is a LARGE recipe (you can halve it or have lots of leftovers!)
Ingredients: 2.5-3 lbs. ground beef
½ large yellow onion (minced)
2 Tbs. Beef bouillion
½ pound bacon (cooked and crumbled)
½ pack of Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix (powder)
1 can of mushrooms
16 oz block of cheddar cheese (freshly grated)
10 eggs (I told you it was LARGE!!)
½ cup parmesan cheese
½ cup heavy cream

How To Prepare: Brown the ground beef, onion and bouillion together until the meat is no longer pink. Drain. Combine the meat mixture, dressing mix, mushrooms and cheese in a large bowl (I used a pasta bowl!).

In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, parmesan cheese and heavy cream until very well blended. Stir into the meat mixture.

Spread the entire combo in a large baking pan (I had to use my 15 ½ x 10 ½ pan).

Bake at 350° for about 45 min. Let sit for at least 15 min. to harden.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Easy, makes a lot that you can freeze

Hubby loves this recipe! It is very large, which is nice because I can make it ahead & have for a couple days, or freeze what is left over.

I add 3 jalapenos to spice it up, and I leave out the Hidden Valley in order to lower the carbs. You can play around with the ingredients a bit - it's very forgiving that way.

A VERY filling casserole.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Easy & Tastes Good
Cons: None

I halved the recipe and it was very good. Kind of tastes like meatloaf. My husband and kids even liked it. But next time, I would probably use more bacon as we couldn't taste it very well.
