Description: My LC knockoff of a true Wisconsin beer cheese soup made in a restaurant I worked at as a teenager (in Wisconsin, of course).
Ingredients: 3 jars Carb Options Double Cheddar sauce
3 bottles LC beer (I used Labatt's Select)
1 lb. thick sliced bacon, cut into small pieces, fried crispy
1 diced green pepper
1/2 large white onion chopped
1 tsp celery seed
1/8 tsp liquid Splenda
How To Prepare: Combine all ingredients in saucepan and cook on low heat until veggies are soft (1 hour or more). Also great in a crockpot.

Number of Servings: Makes 4 qts./16 1 cup servings

Positive aspects of the product (pros): tasty
Cons: not very thick

I thought the soup was very tasty, but wished I had put in less beer as it was not very thick. Also, I'd like to find a way to use cheddar cheese and cream instead of the Double Cheddar sauce as it had too many carbs for my liking!
