1 pkg Round Steak
1 jar Dusseldorf Mustard
1 jar dill pickles
1 pkg sliced bacon
1 raw onion
How To Prepare:
Slice round steak in 4 parts long ways, then cut each strip in half. Pound all 8 pieces with a meat tenderizer (or you can buy the round steak already cubed).
Salt & pepper each side and spread the dusseldorf mustard on one side. Lay a piece of bacon down (on same side of course), place a pickle going the opposite direction, roll it up and poke a toothpick through it to hold it together.
Brown each piece and place into the crock pot.
Dissolve the beef boullion into water as directed and place 2 cups of broth into crock pot. Chop onion and place this in there as well.
Slow cook for about 8 hours.
You can also make gravy from leftover juices.
Don't forget to take out the toothpicks before eating!!
