Pretty easy to make

Didn't really taste good

The "crust" wasn't very good. The gravy or roulee was tasty. It's tough for the LC veggies to taste as good as the highercarb ones, so that could be it. It was bland and the crust would benefit from seasoning, possibly sweetening and butter. I would save my Carbquik for a better recipe, like the cheddar biscuits or one of the wonderful desserts. JMO.

We used chicken (foster farms grilled chicken breast strips cut in pieces) pkg of frozen mixed vegetables and followed the recipe but used 1/2 cup of heavy cream and not 1/4 cream and 1/4 water to make the crust. We also thoroughly drained meat and veggies even patting dry with a paper towel, and still the sauce a little thin to our taste and will work on it next time..But will make again!!!
