10 fresh jalepeno peppers
1 small Pancho's White Cheese Dip
1 "tube" Maple flavored sausage
1 tbsp. garlic powder (optional)
Salt & Pepper to taste
How To Prepare:
Preheat oven to 375. Remove tops and core jalepenos with paring knife. Blanche peppers in boiling water for 10-15 min. Cook sausage on stovetop, breaking it into small chunks (like loose hamburger meat). Drain sausage and blot with paper towel if desired. Put Pancho's white cheese dip in microwave for 30 seconds. Mix sausage, cheese dip, garlic powder and salt & pepper...it will be fairly thick. Press mixture into jalepenos (I use a chopstick to get it to the bottom). Place in a baking pan and surround peppers with extra mixture. Bake 35 minutes.
