Crustless pizza that is a great alternative to Pizza Hut. Can sub any ingredients for pizza toppings - onions, green peppers, sausage, hamburger, garlic, etc. Best eaten with knife and fork.
8 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese
4 oz. sliced provolone cheese
1/3 cup pizza sauce (Ragu is 4g per 1/4 cup)
18 slices pepperoni
1/4 cup sliced canned mushrooms
2 Tbsp black olives, sliced
Pam cooking spray
How To Prepare:
Heat broiler to 500 degrees. Spray 9"x9" square pan with Pam. Sprinkle in approximately half of mozzarella cheese, forming a slight edge on the sides. Place under broiler and cook until cheese is bubbly and browned. (This will form your bottom crust.)
Turn off broiler and heat oven to 450 degrees.
Spread on one layer of pizza sauce. Top with a handful of remaining mozzarella cheese, half the provolone and pepperoni, in this order. Add another layer of the remaining cheeses and pepperoni and top with mushrooms and black olives.
Place in hot 450 degree oven (not broiler) and heat until cheese is bubbly and browned. Can use broiler for last minute or so if cheese isn't browned properly.
Slice and serve on plates. Best eaten with knives and forks.
