Description:
Ingredients: 4 lbs. chuck roast -- (4 to 6)
3 pieces celery -- minced
1 onion -- minced,
small/medium
1/3 cup soy sauce


How To Prepare: Cut the chuck roast into 1-2
inch cubes, place in crock
pot. Add minced onion and
celery. Pour soy sauce over
meat. Cover. Cook on high
for 1 hour, then turn heat
down to low and cook for 11
hours. Shread cooked meat
with a fork. This recipe is
supposed to be for
sandwiches, but it is just as
tasty by itself!


Important -- leave the fat on
the roast while cooking,
discard while shredding the
meat. This helps to keep
the meat tender.
Carbs per serving - include all nutritional information if known: 22g carbs total

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great, melt in your mouth beef and incredible flavor!
Cons: None, except I had to wait 12 hours to eat it. :)

I've tried a lot of crockpot beef roast recipes, and this one is it. Delicious, melt in your mouth beef, excellent flavor (I did add a little bit of ground black pepper after it was done) and it made a lot of great tasting broth which you can just drink and/or eat wit the meat. I'm sure you can add a little xanthan gum (sp?) to the broth and make a gravy, but it is awesome as is! Thanks so much, this is the best!

Cons: Pretty salty - see comment below

This was such a yummy, yummy recipe! Sure to become a family favorite. It was a bit salty even though I used reduced sodium soy sauce, but that could be because I only used a 2.5 pound chuck roast, and my family does not use salt at the table at all (no one complained about it being salty, though). Otherwise, this was awesome!!

Cons: None!

This was very easy to make and everyone in the house liked it including my kids!
