1-2 cloves of garlic
2 tbls.of oil
1 small or medium tomato
1/2 medium onion
4 oz. of turkey burger
3-3.5 oz (50 ml) of sour cream
salt & pepper
How To Prepare:
Peel and mince the garlic cloves. Add oil to a skillet under low heat. Add minced garlic.
Thinly slice 1/2 onion. Stir garlic around in the saucepan then push off to the side. Add onions to skillet.
Dice the tomato into small pieces and add to onions. Salt and pepper vegetables. Stir everything together and allow to cook over low heat until the onions are soft and well-cooked and all of the juices have evaporated. You will need to stir the vegetables aroun occasionally.
Push the vegetables over to allow space for a turkey burger. Pat burger into a patty and add to skillet. Cook burger thoroughly turning over when necessary.
Remove burger, add the sour cream to the pan and completely mix sour cream with vegetables to make a cream sauce.
Serve the sauce over the burger.
(Note: I make this with ground chicken rather than ground turkey but I'm sure it'd work fine with any ground meat or poultry).
