Cons:

Did not thicken until it cooled

I modified this recipe using chive and onion cream cheese and a bit of garlic salt. This recipe is fast, easy, and very elegant. I used this at a dinner and drizzled it over the aspagagus(sp) and turkey. My guests did not even realize they were eating low carb!!! The sauce had an excellent taste! Will use again!
FYI: Heavy whipping cream can be bought by the QUART at Sams club for the same price as a PINT from the grocery store. For a recipe like this (especially if you are feeding a large number of guests, the quart size is recommended.

Used this for a dinner party. My guests did not even realize they were eating low carb! I modified the recipe to use chive and onion cream cheese and a bit of garlic salt. Very sophisticated and elegant.
