Ingredients: 5 pounds turnips, peeled and cubed
1 cup(80z.) sour cream
2 pckgs(3oz.each)cream cheese, softened
3Tbs. butter,divided
1 t. salt
1 t. onion salt
1/4 t. pepper
How To Prepare: Place turnips in a large sauce pan and cover with water. Bring to a boil. Cook for 20-25 mins or until very tender; drain well.

In a large mixing bowl, mash turnips. Add sour cream, cream cheese, 2 T. butter, salt, onion salt and pepper.
Beat until fluffy. Transfer to a greased 2-qt. baking dish. Dot with remaining butter. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 20-25 mins or until heated through.
