When I lived in the UK, i used to love eating cottage and shepherd's pie. This topping is just great as a replacement for potatoes, and the mixturebags i used previously is a waste - this recipe has it all. Thumbs up!

Reminds me of Sherperds Pie, an old family favorite! I did use 2 lbs of ground beef and a whole packet of gravy mix (16 carbs) and added a small jar of mushrooms (8 carbs), so mine had about 30 carbs for entire recipe but made enough to feed 5, at around 6 carbs per serving.
This one gets an "A" and is truely Yummy!!!

Very good. I also used 2 lb ground beef and 1 packet of gravy. I also used frozen cauliflower and mashed that. Even DH likes it, who doesn't usually like my lc meals!!!
Thumbs up at this house.
Thanks
