Ingredients: 3 cups of peeled, and thin sliced turnips
1 cup water
1/2 cup celery
1/4 onion, thinly sliced
1 chicken boullion cube

1-1/2 cups heavy cream

2 T. thickner ( guar gum, xanthum gum, or flour)

1/2 pound shredded cheddar cheese
How To Prepare: Combine turnips, water, celery, onion, and boullion cube. Cover and simmer until tender. Gradually add cream to thickner and blend well.( You may need to use fingers to get lumps out)

Add to soup and cook until desired thickness, then add cheese
Number of Servings: 4-6 servings
Preparation Time: 20 mins
