Ingredients: 2 cups raspberry DaVinci
Splenda-Sweetened Syrup
1/2 cup water
2 envelopes KNOX
unflavored gelatin
How To Prepare: (As a note..this is not the
cheapest way to make
"Jell-O"/gelatin but for
those of us who can't use
Aspartame..it will work...:-)
In a medium heat-proof
bowl (like Pyrex), pour in 1/2
cup syrup. Sprinkle
all of the gelatin powder
over the syrup in the bowl.
Add remaining syrup and
water to a pot. Heat until it
begins to boil,
stirring. Pour the
just-boiling syrup mixture
over the gelatin mixture in
heat-proof bowl. Stir until
well dissolved (1-2 minutes
Pour into an 8x8 pan (or
other mold) and chill until
set (approx. 1-2
hours). This gelatin comes
out tasting like the "real"
stuff. It's firm enough to
make a mold out of...if it's
too firm for you, you can try
cutting back the
gelatin and it will be
"wigglier" :-)
Variations: Use different
flavored syrups.
