Description:
|
|
|
Ingredients:
|
2 cups vanilla protein shake
mix
1 cup soy flour
1 tablespoon baking
powder
2 tablespoons vanilla
powder
1/2 cup artificial sweetener
-- (I used * cup Splenda + *
cupSugar Twin
brown sugar substitute)
1/4 cup heavy cream
2 teaspoons vanilla -- (or 2
tablespoons liquid if you
don't have powdered
vanilla for above)
3 eggs
1/4 cup oil
|
|
How To Prepare:
|
Sift together shake mix, soy
flour, baking powder, vanilla
powder and
sweetener until smooth -
three or four times if
necessary:
Whisk together:cream,
liquid vanilla, eggs and oil.
Make a well in the dry
ingredients and pour in the
egg mixture. Start
incorporating the dry
ingredients, slowly, working
them in from the sides
gradually. When it gets stiff
enough, start using your
hands and knead it
until you have a smooth
mass. Roll do
ugh out about * inch thick.
Cut into donut shapes and
fry in hot oil for 1-2
minutes per side.
Drain on paper towel and
sprinkle with Splenda while
warn.
MAKES AT LEAST 36
DONUTS
These could easily be
converted to chocolate, but I
was trying to use up my
yucky vanilla shake mix
when I had this particular
brainstorm.
NOTES :Counts for shake
mix and vanilla powder not
included.
