Ingredients: 5 strips bacon, fried
1/4 to 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 small onion
2 slices american cheese

2 cups lettuce or salad greens
1/2 cucumber, sliced
1 medium tomato, diced
2 tbsp. your favorite salad dressing
How To Prepare: Fry bacon strips in pan until lightly crisp. Prepare hamburger to make 1 patty. Fry in a saucepan until done. Place cheese on top to melt. Cut up onion into strips or chop, whichever you like and saute' in the oil from the hamburger.
Cut up hamburger patty into cubes and place on top of lettuce tomatoes and cucumbers and then place onions on top. Add your bacon strips and top with your favorite salad dressing and enjoy!!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Quick, easy & yummy!
Cons: I adjusted for less carbs

This is an excellent idea, especially for a make ahead lunch to take to work with you. (Keep the lettuce separate so you can reheat just the meat, cheese & bacon.) To make it less carbs, I omitted the tomato and cucumbers. (You could omit the onions, too- I personally love them!) 0 carb Ranch is a good choice for the dressing. There is a BBQ Ranch available, too, for a few more carbs that adds a zip to this recipe.
