1 whole fish (~1 1/2 lbs)
3 thick slices ginger
1 T soy sauce
1 t rice wine
1/4 cup chopped pickled mustard greens
4 shitake mushrooms (soaked and sliced)
1/2 packet Splenda
2 green onions, shredded
white sesame oil
dash black pepper
How To Prepare:
Scale, gut and wash the fish. Rub the fish inside and out with ginger. Put on a heatproof platter. Place one piece of ginger in the cavity of the fish, one under and one on top of the fish. Sprinkle Splenda over fish. Pour soy sauce and wine over fish. Put mustard greens and mushrooms on fish. Steam on med heat 20 min (more or less depending on size of fish). Before serving place shredded green onion on top and sprinkle with sesame oil and black pepper. Eat off the bone with chopsticks.
