2 lbs beef
1 med onion, quartered
1 daikon radish, cut into large pieces
1 large carrot, cut into large chunks
2 tomatoes, quartered
1 bag Chinese simmering spices (ask at Chinese grocery)
1/4-1/2 cup soy sauce
1 pkt Splenda
How To Prepare:
Blanch the beef and cut into pieces. (My favorite cuts of beef are the ones with lots of tendon and fat marbled in). Put everything into the pot with water to cover. Simmer until beef is tender. This can be pressure cooked, just reduce water.
