Description:
Ingredients: 1 lb Italian sausage -hot 3/4 C Onion - diced 6-slices of bacon 1 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1-10 0z package of Kale (or greens of your choice) 32 oz of Chicken broth 1 qt of water 2/3 C heavy cream
How To Prepare: Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Place sausage links onto a sheet pan and bake for 25 minutes, or until done; cut in half length-wise, then cut at an angle into 1/2 inch slices.Place onions and bacon in a large saucepan and cook over medium heat until onions are almost clear. Remove bacon and crumble. Add garlic to the onions and cook an additional 1-minute. Add chicken base, water, simmer 15 minutes. Add crumbled bacon, sausage, kale and cream. Simmer 4 minutes and serveI added about a teaspoon of dried parsley and about a 1/4 of oregano while it was simmering.Also I couldnt find frozen kale this time so I made it with turnip greens, it was still just as delicious!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Delicious, filling!
Cons: Could be a bit thicker, but how?? :)

This was delicious and VERY close to the real thing, kale and all (although I couldn't find frozen and just used fresh, which was fine)! Not too hard to make, either! Try it sometime, you won't be disappointed!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Very good, almost addictive
Cons: none

I was going to submit this recipe.. mine is almost exact but I do add a pinch of redpepper flakes to the sausage and I peel and slice a turnip to take the place of the potatoes which are in the original.
