Description:
|
|
|
Ingredients:
|
1 can Keto Pizza Dough mix
1 count hot dogs
(sausages would also
work)
2 t melted butter
|
|
How To Prepare:
|
Prepare the dough
according to directions on
the can. It's easiest if you
use a bread machine.
Preheat oven to 400
degrees. Line a jelly roll
type pan with cooking
parchment.
When bread machine is
finished with the "dough"
cycle, remove dough and
place on slightly oiled
surface. Using a lightly
oiled rolling pin, roll dough
out to about the size of a
pizza pie. (This dough is
stretchy and tough so
there's quite a bit of rolling
needed.) Use a pizza cutter
to slice the circle into 8
evenly sized wedges. Take
one wedge and roll it out
again to a thickness of
about 1/8 in. and about the
size of a slice of regular
pizza. Try to retain the
triangular shape. Place the
hot dog at the widest end of
the triangle and roll it up
towards the smaller tip.
Place on prepared pan with
the small tip on the bottom
because they rise when
they bake and you don't
want them to unroll
themselves! Repeat with
remaining dough wedges
and hot dogs.
Brush each wrapped hot
dog with a little melted
butter, if desired.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or
until the crust is raised and
golden brown. Cool slightly
before serving. Serve with
mustard and low carb
ketchup for dipping. These
would also be great sliced
into bite sized pieces and
served as an appetizer.
