½ lb raw shrimp, peeled
½ cup celery, chopped
½ cup onion, chopped 1 tsp. dried cilantro
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
½ cup ground sesame seeds
How To Prepare:
Put shrimp in a food processor and chop, but not liquefied. Empty into a mixing bowl.
Without cleaning processor, add egg and onion and mince. Add to shrimp bowl. Add chopped celery, cilantro, cayenne, and ground sesame seeds, and mix well. Chill in refrigerator covered 30 minutes. Form into 6 patties, and sauté in olive oil (or sesame seed or peanut oil) over medium heat until browned on both sides (about 3 minutes each side). Delicious!
