Description: This is just my method of all things i make using Carbquik. For every cup of carbquik I add an egg, 1 tsp of baking powder (but thinking might be better to change to baking soda since no carbs in that) then I use ATKIN'S vanilla shakes as my liguid...so much less carbs then anything else and already sweetened...so no need to add all those carbs from splenda. My liquid amount will depend if i am adding canned pumpkin or if i am making crapes, muffins, pancakes, waffles, or biscuts...if making biscuits then I cut in a lot of cold butter and skip the egg. You can always add cocoa if you are seeking a chocolate item...

Ingredients: 1 cup carbquik
1 egg
1 tsp baking powder
enough Atkins shake to make the consistance you want.
then add other stuff...
How To Prepare: no need to add any sweetners...
this forumla i have been using for several years...works better then anything i have tried...and forget those on the box...they just suck.
i consider the entire batch 1 serving...the carbs will depend on any added ingredence...
I have also been known to use half cup carbquik and then add half cup of the flax n snax hot cereal...really packs a powerful punch on the great way to feel full. esp if you are a lover of things like hearty muffins or bran muffins...
