Description: I first tweaked a recipe like this I used when working in an assisted living facility and cooking for 21 diabetics ... I used splenda in this recipe and man, they loved it, and I might add, me! I have made a few changes and adjustments and cut this recipe down in size from serving 36 to serving 8.
Ingredients: 16 oz. cream cheese (Room temperature)
1 pint (16 oz.) Whipping cream
1 to 1 1/2 cups bulk Splenda
1 tbsp. (sugar free) Vanilla
How To Prepare: In a large mixing bowl, on high speed of mixer, whip the cream cheese until it is light and fluffy. Add the vanilla and beat it in. Add the splenda and mix it in a few turns.
Pour in the whipping cream and beat all until it is light an fluffy, do not over beat you may get butter. I don't know that this would happen I never beat it that much ha!

Cover and put in refrigerator until set.

Serving size is 1/2 cup. I added instant coffee powder to this once (1/4 cup in the cream) it was great!
Number of Servings: 8
Carbs per serving - include all nutritional information if known: Total carbs are: under 10 per 1/2 serving (I did not have all this iinformation at my fingertips, will add them as soon as I get home)
Preparation Time: 15 minutes prep 30 minutes time to set up.
Effort (Easy, Average, Difficult): Easy

Positive aspects of the product (pros): yummy!
Cons: none!

Since I only had one package of cream cheese, I cut the recipe in half to make 4 servings. This dessert is delicious. I topped it with crushed cinnamon walnuts. I will try using lemon flavor next time (instead of vanilla), as well as liquid splenda. Very quick and easy recipe. Will make again and again!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): fast
Cons:

this was so fast and soooo delicious. Nice and creamy. Felt like I was cheating!! I used vanilla, but a dash of lemon juice too. I'm going to make this again tonight for dessert.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Very easy and fast
Cons: I crave this ALL the time

This mousse is AMAZING. I now have to make sure I am fully stocked with cream cheese as I crave this ALL the time. Sometimes I add a little cocoa for chocolate (as I need my chocolate!). Thank you for sharing...I am in love!
