Stir 1 1/4 cups splenda and
butter in a large bowl. Stir in
eggs and almond extract.
Stir in flour. Pour into
greased 9 inch cake pan.
Sprinkle 2 tsp. splenda and
almonds over the top. Bake
at 350 degrees (325 for
dark pan) for 40 minutes
until golden. Cake will not
test clean with toothpick.
This kinda has the texture of
a scone...delicious! in fact,
