Ingredients:
|
1/2 cup butter or marg
1 1/2 cup splenda
5 eggs [separated]
2 1/8 cups ground almonds [about 200 grams]
1/8 cup whey powder
3 tsp baking powder
1/3 cup whipping cream
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp cream of tartar

How To Prepare:
|
- combine water and cream and set aside
- combine almonds, whey powder and baking powder and set aside
- Beat butter and splenda together
- add yolks and blend
- add almonds alternating with cream, a bit at a time until it's all blended together
- white egg whites and fold it into the batter [be careful not to over work it while folding]
- pour into a greased 13"x9" cake pan and bake at 325 for 45 minutes
