2 TBS CHOPPED ONION
2 C ZERO CARB CHICKEN BROTH
3 C CHOPPED BROCCOLI
1/2 C WHIPPING CREAM
2 TSP ARROWROOT POWDER
3 OZ GRATED JACK OR CHEDDAR CHEESE
1 OZ CREAM CHEESE
How To Prepare:
SAUTE ONION IN BUTTER, ADD BROTH AND HEAT. ADD BROCCOLI AND COOK COVERED UNTIL TENDER. MIX CREAM AND ARROWROOT POWDER AND ADD TO SOUP ON LOW HEAT, STIR. HEAT GENTLY ABOUT 5 MIN, AND STIR IN CHEESE. ADD SALT AND PEPPER AS NEEDED. VERY GOOD WITH SAUTEED RED PEPPER STIRRED IN ALSO.
