This is pretty hot. The amount of hot peppers really is at your discretion.
1 Lb. Ground beef
1/4 Lb. Breakfast Sausage
1/4 Cup Chopped Onion
3 Cloves Garlic
1/2 Tsp Chili Powder
1/2 Tsp Cumin
2 Jalapeno Peppers
6 Habanero Peppers
1/4 Cup Dry Red Kidney Beans
2 Oz. Cheddar Cheese (optional)
How To Prepare:
Soak the beans.
Add Chili Powder and Cumin to the meat, mix well.
Brown the meat, onions, and garlic.
Drain the fat.
Chop Peppers. Remove insides for less spicy, leave them in for more spicy.
Put everything except Cheese in slow-cooker for 4 hours.
Add cheese as you serve.
Add additional raw onions as you serve if you wish.
Wear gloves or wash hands immediately when handling hot peppers. The habaneros especially are some potent stuff.
