Description: This is fabulous side dish for any barbeque or Asian meal. Non-lowcarbers will love this too! The ingredients can be tweaked to suit your personal taste. Please use fresh herbs (ginger and cilantro) because the recipe will not be the same if you use dried herbs. The dressing can be made in advance and then refrigerated until needed.
Ingredients: * 3 - 4 cups of very finely shredded cabbage
* 1 Tablespoon granular Splenda
* 1 teaspoon finely grated fresh ginger
* 2 Tablespoons Carb Options Peanut Spread
* 1 teaspoon sesame oil
* 1 Tablespoon rice wine vinegar
* 2 Tablespoons vegetable or canola oil
* 1 Tablespoon soy sauce (I use Kikkoman)
* 2 Tablespoons minced cilantro
* 2 Tablespoons minced green onion


Optional ingredients: chopped peanuts or sesame seeds, julienned cucumber
How To Prepare: In a medium size mixing bowl, whisk together all ingredients except the cabbage. Then, fold in the cabbage. Serve.
Number of Servings: 4 servings
Carbs per serving - include all nutritional information if known: If you use 3 cups of very finely shredded cabbage instead of four cups, the total carb count per serving is 3.99 net. If you use four cups of cabbage, the total carb count per serving is 4.54 net.
