Ingredients: 1/4 cup cooking sherry
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 Tbs. Splenda
1/4 Tsp. garlic powder
1/8 Tsp. ground ginger
1 lb. chicken livers
3/4 lb. bacon slices
1 small can water chestnut
How To Prepare: Combine first six
ingredients. Marinate
chicken livers in mixture
several hours or overnight.
When ready to prepare,
drain marinade. Cut bacon
slices in half. Press a
water chestnut slice against
each liver piece, wrap
bacon half completely
around it, and secure with a
toothpick (holds better if
toothpick goes through the
water chestnut slice when
securing). Place liver on
broiler pan and broil 10
minutes on each side.
