A tasty, low carb tuna appetizer or snack...great with raw veggies, almond thins or other low carb crackers or pork rinds.
* 1 can of tuna, drained
* 5 ounces of softened cream cheese (you can use low fat)
* 1/2 cup of real mayo
* 4 ounces of shredded sharp cheddar cheese
* Salt and pepper or Old Bay Seasoning to taste
* 1/2 cup green onions, minced
How To Prepare:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese and the mayo until well incorporated. Add all other ingredients and mix well. Spread evenly in a glass pie plate or shallow baking pan. Bake JUST until hot and melted...if you bake for too long, the consistency is not right...it might separate. Serve immediately. Very tasty...even non low carbers like this.
