Description: These came out so good. Just another one of my kitchen experiments. One day I wanted stuffed mushrooms and I just put them together how I thought they should go Smile
Ingredients: 6 small/med mushrooms (white button are what I used)
4 of the stems chopped
1 1/2 tablespoon cream cheese
3 strips bacon cooked crispy and crumbled
1 teaspoon flax meal (you could use bread crumbs but the flax is 0 carbs I believe)
1/3 cup grated cheese (or enough to top)
How To Prepare: Wash mushrooms
Take the stems out of the mushrooms by gently twisting them out
Chop them into tiny pieces into a bowl
Add the softened cream cheese
Fry bacon, drain and crumble in the bowl
Add the flax meal
Mix together until well mixed
Scoop enough mix into each mushroom cap to fill it
Put the mushrooms in a baking pan or dish and top with shredded cheddar (or cheese of choice)
Bake @ 350 degrees for around 16 minutes.
Number of Servings: 1
Carbs per serving - include all nutritional information if known: unknown but pretty low
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Effort (Easy, Average, Difficult): Easy
