These crunchy chips really hit the spot for that sweets craving moment! They're very versatile for desserts as well! I eat them plain and with Lo-Carb ice cream, whipped cream, and cheesecake. Also satisfies the need for something cruchy!
Spread butter on one side of Mountain Bread; cut into squares (approx. 2" X 2"). Heat melted butter on griddle or in a frying pan on medium to medium low heat. Place bread squares into butter and as they start to sizzle sprinkle the cinnamon mixture on tops. As they begin to crisp up turn them over and sprinkle other side with the cinnamon. Let them fry to desired crispness and remove to paper towels to cool. These are SO YUMMY and SATISFYING!!!
There are a total of 13 grams of carbs in the bread and the rest of the carb content depends on how heavily the
cinnamon is applied. You can also omit the cinnamon and eat them with plain butter or even sprinkle them with some cheese if you're just craving some chips!
