Ingredients: 2 tea salt
1 tea paprika
3/4 tea cayenne
1/2 tea thyme
1/2 tea pepper
1/4 tea garlic powder
1 cup onions, chopped
How To Prepare: combine all ingredients except onions. Seperate skin as best you can and rub all ingredients . All left over rub into skin. Put onions into cavity and truss chicken. Cook at 250 for 4 hours for a 3 pounder or more if it is larger.

this is delicious and easy. The long slow cook leaves the chicken juicy. I browned the chicken at the end under the broiler after rubbing the skin with butter
