I have been craving ground sausage for so long, but every time I go to the store, I notice that every bit of sausage that I find has sugar of some sort listed in the ingrediants. I tried this on my family, and we all are soooo satisfied. Let me know what you think. I have a family of 6, so you might want to adjust the ingrediants according to your family size.
2 lbs of ground turkey meat
2-3 tbs of caraway seeds (more or less depending on taste)
1 tbs fennel seeds (no more than this)
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp splenda
1 tsp tobassco sauce
1 tsp garlic salt
1/4 tsp celery salt
2 tbs ground pepper
salt to taste
1 tsp all spice
(optional) chili powder or red pepper to taste
How To Prepare:
cook ground meat with added seasoning in skillet, until it's done. Our favorite is to use it like sausage over buttered cabbage, or with fried eggs. MMMMMMM
