Dottie Dotties Southern Fried Fire Breathing Chicken

8 chicken drumsticks
1 cup protein powder -- I use 0 carb soy, or atkins bake mix
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
4 tablespoons tabasco sauce
Oil for deep frying
How To Prepare:
Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add the chicken. Boil for 10 minutes or until they start to cook well. Remove and drain well. Pat dry when slightly cooled and sprinkle with 1/2 of the salt and pepper. (Use same precautions as you would with raw chicken). In a large bowl, beat the egg then add remaining ingredients. Stir until smooth. Let sit 15 minutes. Heat the oil for deep frying to 350f. Stir batter again, then dip chicken and fry in hot oil for approximately 7 minutes. (Check for doneness by piercing near bone at thickest part). Serve immediately.
**Batter note: This should make a very thick, but pourable batter. If it appears thin after resting, add a little more protein powder or bake mix.
