1 loaf "Better tasting protein bread" -- 10g carbs/cut into 8 pieces
1 pound deli sliced turkey -thin
2 tablespoons mustard -- with horseradish if desired
2 cups shredded lettuce
4 ounces swiss cheese -- thinly sliced into 8 slices
1/2 cup diced tomato
1 each salt and pepper -- to taste
How To Prepare:
Preheat oven to 400f. Spread each slice of bread with mustard(or mayo if you prefer) and place on a cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes or until bread is slightly crisp. Remove from oven and top with turkey and swiss cheese. Return to oven and let cheese melt and turkey warm through.
Toss lettuce and tomato with some salt and pepper. Place each one on a plate and pile on the lettuce and tomato. I count 1-2 pieces as a serving:)
