Description:
|
|
|
Ingredients:
|
1 cup sour cream
1 cup cream cheese
1 cup plain whole milk yogart
1/2 cup Splenda
1/4 cup unsweetened blueberries
1/4 cup unsweetened strawberries
2 tablespoons prepared sharp mustard
|
|
How To Prepare:
|
-Take cream cheese at room temperature and blend it together with the sour cream and yogart until smooth.
-Divide into 3 equal parts.
-Blend 1/4 cup Splenda to the first 2 parts but leave the third part unsweetened.
-Add blueberries to one part, strawberries to the second part and mustard to the third.
-Spoon the three mixtures into a bowl, you can do individual servings or a single large bowl. Do NOT blend the three but rather swirl them together so the three different mixtures remain separate - like neapolaten ice cream.
-Chill in freezer until set but not frozen
I used to make this in 1/2 cup servings but even though people loved it, many found it rich enough that 1/4 to 1/3 of a cup was enough.
The use of mustard may seem odd, but when eaten together with the sweetened berry mixtures it gives a pleasent accent to the dish.
