Description:
Ingredients: 4 Large Eggs = 2.4 carbs
1/4 C. water = 0 carbs
2 Scoops Designer Whey Vanilla Protien Powder (this is approximately 23 cup) which = ~2 carbs

1/2 tsp. baking powder = 0.6 carbs
1/4 tsp. salt = 0 carbs
2 tsp. canola oil = 0 carbs
2 tsp. vanilla = 0 carbs
How To Prepare: Mix liquid ingredients in one bowl. Mix dry ingredients in seperate bowl. ( I don't use the full 14 cup of water, I just add enough to the entire mix to keep it moist, it makes thicker batter and better consistancy for waffles ) Mix all ingredients until blended well. For fun variety, one can also substitute different extracts for different flavors. Also, add chopped nuts, but remember to add the carbs. I grease my hot BELGIAN waffle iron with butter, it adds flavor to die for. If you serve this with SPRING TREE SF syrup mixed with melted butter, it is unbelievable. ( Spring Tree is cheaper than Atkins syrup and I think it tastes more authentic) I don't butter the waffles and top with syrup, I dunk them in the syruputter mix. If you serve this with eggs and bacon, 12 of a belgian waffle will suffice!! Therefor you've endulged on waffles for less than 2 carbs!!!!!!!!!!
Number of Servings: Depends on one's appetite ; )
Carbs per serving - include all nutritional information if known: 2.5 carbs 1 BELGIAN waffle
Preparation Time: 5 minutes, once you've made them a couple of times
Effort (Easy, Average, Difficult): Easy

Positive aspects of the product (pros): light vanilla flavor
Cons: couldn't find that whey protein powder & a little salty

I needed to alter the recipe because I could not find that particular brand of whey protein. So, I put in 2 scoops of the Atkins vanilla shake mix. Next time I will leave out the salt, I found it a little on the salty side.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): easy to make, only a few ingredients
Cons: texture not crispy

I just made these and they are quite good. The only reason I didn't give them a higher rating is because they aren't as crispy as I would like (personal prefernce). But, they are good and satisfying. They were super easy to make and popped right out of the waffle iron. I used the Maple Grove Farms SF syrup which was a big step up in flavor from DaVinci's pancake syrup.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): very very good
Cons: they go a little to flat and get a little rubbery but the taste is great.

I used atkins vanilla shake mix and no water. That could have contributed to the texture. overall just what I needed.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): quick, low carb
Cons: kind of rubbery the next day

I had natural whey pwder so just added a bit more vanilla to overcome the taste, nice and fluffy, only drawback not so good as leftovers, a little chewy the next day when reheated in the microwave.
