Description:
|
|
|
Ingredients:
|
1/2 cup pecan flour --
(pecan meal)
3/4 cup protein powder (I
used banana
flavored--incredible
combination with
the pecan)
2/3 cup water
1/3 cup oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon splenda
3 eggs
|
|
How To Prepare:
|
Preheat oven to 375
degrees. Boil the water, oil,
salt and sugar. Then add
nut meal and protein
powder, still over heat until
mixed well. Take off the
heat and cool for a minute
or so. Beat in each egg one
at a time.
Grease a cookie sheet very
well.
Dip a tablespoon
measuring spoon in ice
water and make tbsp sized
balls. Make sure you dip
into ice water each time, or
you will have a gooey mess.
Then flatten each ball into
average sized cookies (like
the size of a chocolate chip
cookie)
Place in oven and bake for
20 -25 minutes or until a
knife inserted comes out
clean.
I got 18 altogether.
They come out huge and
nutty. No soy taste and no
sponge like texture. They
are great with some butter.
NOTES : Counts for protein
powder not included in
