Unknown Gummy Bears Reviews Date of last review 6 Sun July 26, 2009 Recommended By Average Price Average Rating 100% of reviewers None indicated 9.8 Description: Ingredients: 1 package sugar free jello -- any flavor 6 packages gelatin powder, unsweetened -- unflavored 1/2 cup water -- cold How To Prepare: In a small saucepan, mix flavored and unflavored gelatin. Stir it up. Pour cold water in, stir with spatula until you have a gloppy-chunky blob, not unlike play-doh. Turn heat on medium, melt blob. Stir obsessively until melted. Pour into miniature bear molds. Stick in freezer for 10 minutes to cool. If you don't have miniature bear molds, do this: take the rack out of your toaster oven and put it on the counter. Drape a big sheet of aluminum foil over it. Cram the aluminum foil down into the gaps, leaving striplike molds. Presto! Gummy tapeworms. Yummy. Yes | Price you paid?: None indicated | Rating: 10    Positive aspects of the product (pros): Easy and Fun Cons: None The Gummy Bears were so much fun to make and really satisfy my sweet tooth for basically no cals, no carbs. Talk about a sweet nothing! When I made them, I added 4 packets of Splenda and a little stevia to increase the sweetness. I also added either a teaspoon of the same flavor extract as the jello, or a few drops of essential oil the same flavor as the jello. Yummy!

When it sets up pop the cubes out and dice in 6-8 pieces. You can also add a touch more water 1/4 c to make the recipe go further. YUMMO!

Mine got a little "frothy" looking, but still tasted great. I had to use the 'ole ice cube tray trick, and they stuck a bit, but not oo bad. I may think about spraying it next time. They are certainly great for an on-the-go fix!!!!
