Shannon B. Cubed Steaks with Sour Cream and Onion Sauce

A tasty combination of seasoned cubed steaks topped with a rich, creamy sauce. Reminiscent of beef stroganoff.
Cheap and easy to make!
4 good-sized cubed steaks
3/4 cup slivered onions
1 3/4 cups sour cream
How To Prepare:
Heat a small amount of vegetable oil in a pan. Do not use too much oil as remainder is incorporated into sauce. Season steaks with salt, pepper, and garlic powder on both sides. Use as much seasoning as desired. Cook steaks in oil until crispy on both sides and cooked throughout. Remove steaks from pan. Saute onions in leftover oil until transluscent and slightly browned. Add sour cream to pan and mix with onions. Allow to simmer briefly until sauce bubbles and turns tan in color. Serve sauce over steaks and enjoy!
