Ingredients: 8 ounces sauerkraut --
1 pound ground beef
12 ounces corned beef
brisket, canned
3 eggs
4 ounces swiss cheese
1/4 cup thousand island
salad dressing -- or
tomatoe paste
2 teaspoons horseradish --
(2 to 3)
1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil

How To Prepare: Drain and chop sauerkraut.
In a large bowl mix beef,
eggs, ground beef and
whatever seasonings you
would like. Add sauerkraut
and mix well til blended. Pat
1/2 of the beef mixture in a
9x13 cake pan. Cover with
swiss cheese (I've used
both slices and shredded)
Pat remaining beef mixture
evenly on top to seal in the

In a small bowl, mix
thousand island dressing
(or tomato paste) with the
horseradish and oil. Spoon
evenly over the top of the
meat loaf.

Bake, uncovered in a 375
degree oven for 1 hour. Let
stand for 5 minutes before
